As reported in the Northern Valley Press South, Tenafly councilman Barry Honig will seek another term come this November.
Honig has recently served as liaison to the Tenafly Nature Center. Honig said that before he leaves, he will advocate for the creation of a new educational building pursued by the center.
Honig said his decision was mostly based on his family and his wish to focus on business opportunities. He did, however, admit to some bitter feelings about the borough politics that also played a part in his decision.
