Lubavitch in Tenafly…Celebrated the Ground Breaking Ceremony For A New Wing

Chabad Tenafly Expanding

Sunday May 20th  was the Ground Breaking date for the planned expansion of the the new wing at Tenafly Habad House. The expansion will facilitate the addition of 8 new classes, a large cultural hall, a science laboratory and a computers class. The new wing will be in commemoration of Shira-Hay Prezant a young member of the community who died a few weeks ago in an unfortunate accident.

The Elementary school activity has become a reality and, coming this September a new third-grade class will be added. The plan is to add one additional class every year as the students currently enrolled grow up. The school’s curriculum incorporates side by side general studies along with Judaic studies.

Once the new wing will be open the school will be able to accept more students. A Daycare program for 18 months old  & up will be offered and a full program from 7:30 am through 6:30 in the evening
