Multicultural buyers have been important to the health of Bergen County & Tenafly’s housing market. As more baby boomers put their homes on the market, and population shifts continue across the U.S., the role of multicultural buyers will become even more important. According to a National Association of Realtors Research , New Jersey absorbs about 5% of all admitted immigrants to the country and about 4% of the naturalized citizens.
New Jersey’s Department of Education School Reports for all six schools of the borough, show that about 35% of Tenafly’s students, first spoken language at home, is other than English.
