Third Power Outage Hits Tenafly This Summer

Tenafly lost power on Friday afternoon for a couple of hours. This is the third time this summer that the borough is losing power.

It was not clear whether the outage was related to recent disruptions of power in the borough or was caused by an excessive use of electricity because of the heat.  With the current lasting heat wave and temperatures that reach the high 90’s for  many  days in a row “This is something that was not unexpected.” according to mayor Rustin.

Tenafly residents are very frustrated with the frequent outages and  with PSE&G knowing that the company’s  motto is ” We make things work for you”. Do you ??
