Tenafly & Bergen County Home Purchase Demand Continues To Soar

Bergen County real estate Demand in February  continued the trend from January with an increase  of 28% in sales in Tenafly compared to 2011. The sales pace for 2012 is the strongest recorded pace in the last four years. Inventory of single family homes in Tenafly  is at the rate of  about 9 months for the quarter and will most likely come down to a level of 6-7 months now that the spring season is on.

• Single family home sales in Tenafly for the first quarter increased by 23%  over the same period in 2011 totaling 26 homes vs 21.
• 35% of the homes sold were for $1 Million and over vs only 28% in the same period in 2011
