Tenafly Is Considering Creating A High School Academy Program

Already known for its high academic achievements,  Tenafly High School is considering to create an academy program similar to Bergen Academies, but without segregation from the rest of the student body.

The program is to be designed for students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and the performing arts.  The central mission of the STEM Education Coalition is to inform federal and state policymakers on the critical role that STEM education plays in U.S. competitiveness and future economic prosperity.

If the STEM and performing arts academies work out, high school administration are looking to expand the program to include world languages, business, social studies and other classes.
