Tenafly’s Lion Share of Solds Is In The $500K to $700K

As of June 10th 2011 about 29% of all sold homes in Tenafly are  in the entry level price range of $500,000 to $700,000.  These numbers include the sales of all categories namely single family homes , condominiums and town houses.  Of a total of  23 units sold in the range to date,  15 are single family homes and 8 are condominiums. This represents a mixed trend  of new immigration into the town of young families who want to partake in the excellent school system, and of “empty nesters” who are downsizing but want to stay in the community.

The trend is further validated when analyzing  the Under Contract Properties yet to be closed . Some such properties are:
