The Nature Center officials will hold a public hearing on the center’s proposed building and development on the green acres property. The hearing is to take place at the Borough Hall Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30 pm.
The green acres representatives are calling for the mayor and council to support a Public referendum thus allowing the voters the right to decide the future of Tenafly’s green acres.
The proposed location for the new center is on Clinton Avenue by Kent Road. Presently, the visitor’s center, known as the John A. Redfield Building, is located on Hudson Avenue – on the opposite end of the nature preserve.
