142 students were lost after a re-registration drive aimed ensuring that schoolchildren live in the district. Despite the loss resulting from the re registration the overall enrollment has increased.
Tenafly’s Pre-K-through-Grade 12 student population rose from 3,572 last year to 3,615 this year according to Superintendent Lynn Trager.
The re-registration process lasted five months starting in April and cost about $8,100. Trager, said it was a necessary job asserting that re-registration should be accomplished by the district every 10 years. Read The Full Article on Northjersey.com
