Stricter Limits On Tenafly Landscapers...?

In an effort to reduce noise levels generated by the the use of commercial leaf blowers, Tenafly borough officials are looking to change existing regulations.  On the table is an offer to push back by a half hour the time landscapers can begin to work during weekdays and, prohibiting them from working on weekends altogether…

Such proposed restrictions will only affect commercial landscapers, not residents and property owners.   It remains to be seen how such restrictions will influence the aesthetics of the town if adopted.

Tenafly Dog Park.. Coming Soon??

Is Quality of life about to improve for Tenafly’s 775 registered canines?  A proposal to designate about a third of an acre of Roosevelt Common Park   ( located on Riveredge Road across from the Boro Hall) . In the plan is a fenced in area divided into two fenced sections, one for larger dogs and the other smaller dogs. The dog park idea is not a new one and had been voted down a few years back.

Other New Jersey  towns already have dog parks. Overpeck County Park Dog Run, Fort Lee Road, Leonia. An official Bergen County off-leash dog run area in Overpeck County Park.
