Tenafly Business Improvement District Given One More Chance

Tenafly’s mayor and council is giving the Business Improvement District leadership “one more chance” to prove itself, after approving the BID’s budget in a 4-0 vote on June 26……According to  Councilwoman Nadia LaMastra who is the council’s liaison to the BID board,  the BID was tasked with figuring out how to improve Tenafly’s downtown with no goal, plan and money after two years, said.

Tenafly’s downtown is lacking in shopping interest & vitality.  In public meetings  local business owners voiced concerns regarding the organization’s lack of progress in meeting its mission.
